Back in 1996 my path crossed with diving. Over the years I became a diving professional with PADI. This had led me to various destinations across the world and ultimately to Plettenberg Bay. Here my love for the ocean grew stronger and Frendz Charters was established in 2017. The whole idea of Frendz Charters came as there was no luxury fishing charters in Plettenberg Bay and there was a gap in the market for the family man who does not want to “just fish” but who wants a whole experience in connecting with the ocean.
We acquired a vessel built in Pretoria by Nova Craft called NovaCat 270. It is a 27,5ft ski boat with lots of space as we only take 6 customers per trip. The vessel is powered by 2 x 150hp Suzuki 4 stroke outboards which is great for the environment and the noise levels is very low.
The trips have been built around the customer who wants to find value for money and an experience to talk about for years to come. We provide everything needed from tackle to bait. You provide the laughter and your own story to complete the experience. Do remember your fishing license when booking as this is a prerequisite from government.
